Mrs. Bevans earned her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Cal Poly, Pomona and has a Master's Degree in
Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.Her teaching credential courses were taken at both Cal Poly, Pomona
and California State University, San Bernardino. She holds a single subject credential in physical education as well as
supplemental authorizations in social sciences and health science. This is her 23rd year teaching in the Walnut Valley Unified
School District.
In addition to teaching Mrs.Bevans is the girls' varsity volleyball coach at Diamond Bar High School. She has coached 15
seasons at the school from 2000-2012 and 2021-present. Mrs. Bevans has been married for 28 years. She and her husband have two sons,
Reed and Griffin Bevans. They enjoy camping, jet skiing, boating,and riding dirt bikes in the desert during their spare time.
Reed and Griffin spend a lot of time playing basketball.
