Upload two progress photos and your final photo - on paper or digital. Include which category you chose in the private comments. Last year, seniors Jessica Leung was 2nd place, and Jenny Luo was 4th place. Their work is depicted below. Your due date is Friday, February 23rd.

Contest Rules
Artwork should be drawn on 12” X 18” or 8.5” X 11” size white poster board or white drawing paper that has no lines. Under or oversized artwork WILL NOT be accepted.
Digital artwork must be 3600px x 5400px size with 300dpi resolution.
Students who draw on digital notepads, drawing tablets, or graphic tablets must note that no photographs, television, or videos will be accepted.
Artwork must depict various conservation or waterwise uses:
a. inside or outside of the home or school;
b. in industries or businesses;
c. in the environment (nature);
d. in agriculture;
e. in recreation; or
f. cleanliness/proper hygiene
“Being Water Wise Is…” is the overall theme. A “short” water message must be written on the artwork (not necessarily the words water is life). The less text the better.
Artwork with misspelled words will not be selected.
Bold, bright, brilliant colors show up the best. Students may use the following art media: crayons, markers, pencils, paints, watercolors, chalk, cut paper, or fabric.
Artwork must be original (no traced, trademarked, or copyrighted characters, slogans, i.e., Disney Sponge Bob, Dora the Explorer, etc.) No repeat artwork from past years.
Walnut Valley Water District reserves the right to question or disqualify any artwork that is not the work of the student based on their age and grade level.
