Our Brahma Community is saddend by the passing of legendary former Brahma Head Football Coach TERRY ROCHE. Monday, April 1, 2024, Terry passed away at the age of 72. Terry was a teacher and a coach at DBHS for nineteen years. Terry was known for his ability to get his teams to perform above and beyond their expectations. In his fourteen years as head football coach, he led the Brahmas to six CIF Finals and four CIF Championships. An "Original Brahma," Terry was honored as the school’s Brahma-of-the-Year at the end of the 1982-83 school year. Terry will be missed by his family, friends, and former players.
It's the end of an era. One of the greatest football coaches in the history of the SGV won CIF-SS titles at Diamond Bar in 1984, 1995, 1998, and 1999. He also coached at Chino Hills, St. John Bosco, Ontario, and Chowchilla HS. His record was 223-82-7.
