Wednesday, May 23, for Seniors

Thursday, May 24, for all students, Underclassmen on Friday.

No books will be distributed early and you may not have someone else pick it up for you. Bring your ID and come party. Books will also be available from Rm. 252 during Lunch and Brunch on Thursday and Friday. During Finals week you may pick up your yearbook at the Student Store.

This is who we know has ordered a yearbook. Check for your ID number.

If you think you purchased and don't see your ID number, go to the finance office.

18-YEAR OLDS: Register To Vote (Mon, May 21)

2012 Teen Fashion Council Program

The Shoppes at Chino Hills allows anyone who will be a high school student next year to submit an application for their 2nd Annual Teen Fashion Council. Ten selected members will participate in programs at The Shoppes “to develop fashion, retail public relations, presentation skills, while providing community service support to enhance their education and career goals.” If interested, pick up an application from the Guidance Office or download the file below. Jeff Sein Kwan Yang Memorial Scholarship

This just in! Another scholarship was just sent to the school, and it could apply to you!

The Jeff Sein Kwan Yang Memorial Scholarship offers $500 for tuition and educational fees. Applicants must be A) graduating from a San Gabriel Valley high school, B) an immigrant or child of and immigrant, and C) committed to serving the immigrant community in some aspect.

ATHLETICS: This Week's Activities

Sports Physicals…Come on May 16th to get your physical for summer league and the 2012-2013 school year. You must have a physical to compete in your sport. Cost is $30, checks only ~ no cash. Wear shorts & t-shirts. Check with your coach for scheduled time. (Truglio)

GRADUATION: Reminders

Graduation Lei Presale this Week! Seniors- add some flair to your cap and gown on graduation day. Presale order forms for graduation flower lei's and kukui nut lei's will be distributed to senior classroom this week. Order forms and payment can be dropped off at the USB room between May 7th and May 18th. (J. Maine)

Free Graduation Tickets: Immediately following graduation practice on Tuesday, May 29, graduates will receive 3 free graduation tickets and can buy additional for $7 each. Tickets go on sale in the USB room & front office Monday, May 7.

Grad Nite will be on Friday, June 1, from 3pm to 3am. Tickets are $100 each. Tickets will be on sale from May 7 to May 24. If you want to ride the bus with your friends, you all need to buy your tickets together! Seniors can park hop during the day and then go to Disneyland at night for the all night Grad Party.

Graduation Announcements Are Here...come to the USB room if you ordered graduation items, including announcements, plaques, sweatshirts and t-shirts. Bring your ID. We also have a few extra packs of announcements available to purchase, if you are interested. They are $20 for a pack of 10and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Final day to order your "DBHS Congrats Graduate" sign is on Monday, May 7, from 2-2:30 outside of the attendance office. See flier below.

Clothes For Warmer Weather

THE WEATHER IS GETTING WARMER……Dress Code reminder for all! Please make sure that all dress code rules are being followed. Be especially aware of making sure all undergarments are covered and that no midriff areas are showing. Girls, if you are wearing any shirt that is see through or lacy, you MUST have a cami or tank top underneath. Make sure all clothing is appropriate for school. (GLC)
